Jealousy is also a symptom of Paranoid Schizophrenia. Sometimes a person is seen smelling or tasting things that do not exist in reality. The disease is usually predicted at an adolescent age. Paranoid Schizophrenia usually begins between the ages of15 and 35, and when there is no cure this disease can be treated with the medicine like that of Thorazine, Prolixin, Haldol and Stelazine. The availability of these drugs started in the 1950s.
During the last decade more advanced researches were done and thus more advanced medications used for treating Paranoid Schizophrenia came into existence. The drugs which have been developed in the last decade include Seroquel, Geodon, Abilify and Zyprexa.
