Schizophrenia is caused due to the problems when our brain development is at an early stage. Catatonic schizophrenia can be treated by means of various ways. But the treatment is most effective when it is given at an early stage of the disorder. The medications do not really cure the disease but they help in relieving to the most troubling symptoms which are thinking problems, hallucinations and delusions.
Rehabilitation can also be used as a cure of catatonic schizophrenia. This process has a focus on the social skills and job training to help people of the schizophrenia community so that they can live an independent life.

This therapy helps a person in order to understand his/her illness better and they must learn coping and problem solving skills in order to cope up with the problems of life. One more therapy includes group therapy. This therapy is performed in order to provide the mutual support to the catatonic schizophrenia.
